James M's Kungfu Zen Class report

I have been taking Kung Fu classes since 2007.  I enjoy Kung Fu for many reasons.  I like practicing Kung Fu because it makes me stronger and more flexible.  It helps me be a stronger swimmer on my swim team too.  It is very challenging memorizing all the different routines and working with all the different weapons.  I learn self-defense which helps with my reflexes when defending myself.  Also, Kung Fu helps me at school too.  It helps me have better concentration with my classes and my homework.  I have better coordination when I climb the gray and black rock wall at school.  It also helps me when I play kickball and baseball.  When I fall, I have better control of my body so I can avoid hurting myself.    

My goal for Kung Fu is to do my best.  I just earned my purple/black belt.  One day, I hope to earn a black belt like my Master.  I need to work on stronger cart wheels.  I need to keep practicing on my pop ups until I can do it successfully.  I need to be quicker and stronger with my Kung Fu moves.  When I am really good, I can help other kids do Kung Fu too.  I look forward to my Kung Fu classes because I enjoy learning new moves and meeting new friends.  Also, I like practicing with my brother because it makes us both stronger and we help each other be better.
